Many guests found the location convenient for accessing major highways and attractions in west Edmonton, such as the West Edmonton Mall. While a couple of guests appreciated the ample and free on-site parking.
Several reviewers described their rooms as spacious, while a couple of guests also mentioned that their rooms were quiet. The room rates were frequently complimented for being reasonable, with several reviewers saying that the rates were "cheap".
The Bad
Several aspects of this hotel seemed to concern reviewers. Many guests indicated cleanliness inconsistencies with their rooms. Reviewers described the following conditions upon arrival: garbage cans that were not emptied, used soap in the bathroom, beds not properly made, dirt found behind furniture, cigarette ashes, pet hair, and dusty furniture. One guest said that she discovered bed bugs on her luggage when she returned home.
A few guests described unpleasant odours in their guest rooms, while a few other reviewers thought that the decor and furnishings were dated.
Many guests complained about uncomfortable in-room temperatures. Several guests mentioned that their air conditioners did not work and that their room became uncomfortably warm. A few of those guests said that they decided to relocate to another hotel. On the contrary, a couple of guests found their rooms too cold.
Several reviewers felt unsafe at this property because it is adjacent to a truck stop and because there is an on-site adult entertainment bar.
