The Union Bank Inn is located on Jasper Avenue, in downtown Edmonton, Alberta. This property is a registered heritage building and is located within a 5 minute walk to many business offices, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

This pet-free boutique hotel offers 34 units comprised of rooms and suites. All units include fireplaces, bathrobes, in-room safes, Keurig coffee makers, flat screen televisions, iPod docking stations, individual climate control, free local calls, and free Wi-Fi. Valet parking is available for $20 for overnight (3 pm to 11 am) or $30 for 24 hours.

A free a la carte breakfast is served at the on-site restaurant, Madison's Grill. Guests also receive a free wine and cheese sampler, delivered to guest rooms, in the evenings. The on-site restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner.

Other on-site amenities include banquet and meeting space, a business centre, and a fitness facility.

The staff were described, by many reviewers, as friendly, accommodating, and attentive. One guest said that he was "treated exceptionally well", while another reviewer described the customer service as "brilliant".

The rooms were frequently found to be clean, with one guest describing her room as "impeccable". Many guests also thought that their rooms were well-appointed, quiet, and spacious. One reviewer described the hotel as having "great ambience".

The on-site restaurant was commonly complimented for its food quality. Many guests were impressed that the free breakfast was served a la carte, which allowed them to order from the menu. The food was described by one reviewer as "delicious", and another guest said that the food was "top notch". The service at the restaurant was also complimented several times by reviewers.

A couple of guests described their beds as too firm, while one reviewer said that he was disappointed to discover that bottled water was not provided in the guest room.

One guest complained that the breakfast service began too late in the day, and therefore he was unable to take advantage of his complimentary meal. A couple of reviewers found that the on-site restaurant lacked an adequate selection of Canadian wine.
