"Friendly atmosphere and good service"
"Service was great except in the restaurant, but you couldn't beat the discount. The room was fine. The location was great for us, but might not be for everyone. However, everyone was pleasant and welcoming."

"rude staff"
"At the time of booking I booked this room for 2 guests. We both checked in together and both received breakfast vouchers. But when we arrived back after a concert we were stopped by the front desk staff and the security guard and told only 1 of us would be allowed in. After much lengthy infuriating discussion, the clerk demanded my friend pay her 10 extra dollars to be allowed to stay. She went on to tell us that it was for our safety and she was doing so for our own good. She continued to make a scene and both her and the security guard were extremely rude and condescending. After all was said and done she told me she would do me a "favour" this time and waive the 10 dollar fee. That process took all of 20 mins to go through. Don't do me any favours lady- just take the money or don't. I was very offended by both this clerk and the security personel. We will never be staying there again. The breakfast was not good and the room was falling apart. For the extra money there were demanding at 1am, we could have paid that and stayed somewhere else much better."

"We were so upset we checked out after the first night. Drunks on the stairs heading to our room. A Drunk banging on doors at 4:00 in the morning and then he tryed to get in our room, by Pounding on our door. A young girl across the hall let him into her room. The next moring at 7:30 or so we were up getting ready to go watch my daughter play volleyball and a large older lady came to the room that he was let into a few hours earlier and banged on the door. The young lady answered and was told by I assume her mother to get the f**k out of the room and back home to your own bed . You shouldn't f**ken be in there. The girl said he sent me here so just go home!!!!! When we pulled out of the lot we noticed on the parking lot that there was a sign saying "we do not allow prostitution in our Community". There was a number to call for their Report a Jon program. We left and found another hotel in sherwood park area. Didn't save any money but at least we were safe."

"The hotel is badly in need of some renovations, the arm on the couch was sewn up roughly by hand. The toilet ran half the time unless you lifted up the lid and fixed it. There were rips in the wall-paper and the complimentary hair dryer did not work. We left a do not disturb sign on the door when we we're out, as we didn't want our room attended to, they came in anyways! The restaurant server was nice, but the food wasn't. We had a room where either a air conditioning unit or whatever droned over-head all night, and when in the shower, got scalded when someone in the next room ran the cold water. The front desk staff were awsome, but even so we would not go back again."
