The GoodThere were few overall positive reviews found for this hotel, among the reviews used for this analysis. However, many guests agreed that their rooms were clean and that their beds were comfortable.
Several guests found the room rate reasonable and the location convenient for accessing major highways and Rexall Place (the home of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers). A few reviewers also mentioned finding several restaurants within a 5 minute drive of the hotel.
A few guests described the staff as friendly and one reviewer was impressed with how a member of the housekeeping staff interacted with her dog. A couple of other guests also complimented the ample free parking.
The Bad
Negative reviews outnumbered positive reviews for this hotel, of the reviews used for this analysis. Many guests expressed concerns about dated decor and furnishings, old bathroom fixtures, and non-functioning air conditioners. One guest described their room as "grubby", while another reviewer thought her room appeared "tired".
Several guests complained about smelling cigarette smoke in their non-smoking guest rooms, while a few other reviewers were unhappy about smelling cigarette smoke in the hallways.
The area immediately surrounding the hotel did not appear safe to several guests. One reviewer said that she witnessed a fight in the parking lot, while a couple of other guests were bothered by homeless people begging for money in the hotel parking lot. One review described the area around the hotel as "sketchy".
Some guests were disturbed in their rooms by noise from neighbouring units, while another reviewer said that an exterior exhaust fan was loud and disrupted his sleep.
