The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald is located on 100th Street in downtown Edmonton, Alberta. This hotel overlooks the North Saskatchewan River and is a designated historic property by the city of Edmonton. The hotel offers a Royal Tea service and tours of the property, which highlight the building's historic features.

The hotel offers 199 rooms and 18 suites. All units include wireless Internet access ($14.95 per 24 hours for all non-Club members), air conditioning, alarm clock radios, bathrobes, coffee makers, televisions with pay-per-view movies and video games, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, windows that open, two telephones with voice mail, desks and chairs, and free newspapers. Mini-fridges and DVD players are available on request and for an extra charge.
