"Good location but currently being renovated"
"Currently under renovation (floor by floor). Elevators sporatically not working. Construction noise during the day. Limited parking. Staff friendly and persevering in spite of construction turmoil."

"tHE HOTEL WAS UNDER RENOVATION WHEN WE WERE THERE. SO I HAVE TO GIVE THEM A BREAK ON THAT. HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO REDUCTION IN PRICE FOR THE OLD SMELLS OF A A lOUNGE FROM THE 1970'S WAS APPARENT WHEN WE WERE STANDING IN THE LOBBY WAITING FOR THE ELEVATOR. i TOLD THE KIDS TO NOT LET ANYTHING TOUCH THE SCUMMY CARPETS IN THE ROOMS. NOW THESE CARPETS ARE REAL BAD THEY GIVE YOU THAT CREEPY FEEL. IN GENERAL THE PLACE NEEDED A GOOD SCRUB DOWN AND THERES NO EXCUSE FOR THAT. mY PROBLEM HERE WAS I STAYED AT THE rADISSON A FEW MONTHS BACK FOR ABOUT THE SAME PRICE MAYBEE 10 BUCKS MORE AND I THOUGHT I HAD BOOKED AT THE RADISSON AGAIN BUT SOMEHOW GOT THE RAMADA CONFUSED AND BOOKED ON LINE WITH THEM. WE CHECKED IN LATE AND IN HINDSIGHT I SHOULD HAVE JUST TAKEN 1 LOOK AT THE ROOM AND GOT MY MONEY BACK AT ANY COST AND TRIED FOR ANOTHER PLACE. AFTER ALL THERE ARE LIMITS ON A DIRTY PLACE. THE ONLY OTHER THING I DID NOT DO WAS COMPLAIN TO ANYBODY ABOUT MY STAY UNTIL NOW. I ALWAYS FEEL THAT YOU SHOULD DO THIS IF YOU CAN SO THAT THEY KNOW HOW YOU FEEL AND HAVE A CHANCE TO ADDRESS THESE CONCERNS. THIS PLACE HAS NO CLASS OR IS PERFECT FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO PARTY HARD "THE NEIGHBORS WERE YELLING ACROSS THE HALL FIRST THING IN THE MORNING WITH THE DOORS OPEN" OR FAMILIES THAT HAVE NO MANNERS."

"I definitely plan to stay at this Ramada Hotel next time we stay in Edmonton. We have young children and the waterpark was really great. The service was friendly, and they were helpful with any questions we had. Our room was plesant and clean, and it was nice to have a balcony to sit and visit on after children went to sleep. The price was average compared to other hotels around the city, and it has a generally central location. We were able to get everywhere we wanted to go without any trouble. I would recomend this hotel to any family travelling to Edmonton!"

"Don't use the vending machines in the hotel. They take your money and don't dispence product and also don't return your money. Pillows are due for replacement so bring your own.
Has a nice balcony and usually a nice view on the upper floors."

"An older hotel that needs to be updated. Felt like we were staying in something from the 70's. Rooms were small with no frills. Fairly clean but really needs to be spruced up. Could of stayed in something more modern just down the street for the same price or less."

"The Hotel itself is in an alright location in Edmonton. The customer service skills at the front desk; including management, are very poor. They are not welcoming at all and smiles are non existent. In the hospitality industry, travellers deserve more.
The cleanliness of the room itself was OK; however, the blankets are thin and seem old. The bead spreads could definitly use some cleaning.
In comparison to the treatment I have received in the past from other hotels, the Ramada Waterpark needs some help."

"I was discouraged that there was only 1 usable electrical outlet outside of the bathroom and it wasn't close to a mirror. We needed a bottle opener and called for someone to bring on and they said we needed to go to the lounge for the bottle opener. Once we were there, we were not waited on immediately. We were named "Customer of the Day", that was nice, but also seemed like everyone else at the hotel was named the same."

"When it came for checkout at 11 am on Sunday there was a huge line and only one customer service rep at the counter to check everyone out. We waited for a good 30-45 minutes before we could check out. Other than that we loved our stay and had a great time.
Thank you."

"Front desk people were rude and not understanding at all! I stayed here for 3 nights and there were yellow stains (which looked like pee) on the bed covers, we're not sure what it was but we kept on putting the covers on the floor and notified the people at the front desk (but they did nothing about it!) In addition we were hoping room service would notice that the covers are on the dirty floor and so they would automatically replace it with clean ones but they never did because we got the same covers placed back on our bed night after night. We were there for a wedding so we were barely at the hotel, and just went back to it late at night to go to bed, but by that time we didnt want to wait around for them to come to our room because we were very tired so we would just put the bed cover in the corner of the room. Also there were grapes and popcorn on the side of one bed that room service kept on missing to pick up, so they clearly do not vacume the floor often! Owner/manager was completely rude, and did absolutely nothing (like take some money off since we were completely not satisfied). This place was not worth what we payed for at all."

"I thought it was overpriced. With no fridge and basic cable TV. There was no standard decaf coffee option or a frontdesk offer to supplement personal toliletry.
An exit door was locked with not notice so one would go through the embarassment of trying to open a locked door.
Not good value for the money"
