The Bad

However, according to guests who stayed at this hotel after April 2012, the property is undergoing renovations that will continue through the summer of 2012. One guest also thought that the pool appeared to be unclean. A couple of reviewers, who booked a room at this hotel specifically for the pool, were disappointed to learn that the pool had been temporarily closed during their stay.

A few guests also found the location of this hotel too far away from the downtown area of Edmonton and inconvenient for accessing area attractions.

Other isolated complaints included: uncomfortable in-room temperature, in-room telephone not in working order, small fitness centre, unpleasant odour in the sauna, and the neighbourhood immediately surrounding the hotel appeared unsafe.

"Very Good Stay - I'm Coming Back!"

"The room was exceptionally clean, the beds were beautiful and lots of pillows. The bathroom was well equipped with large towels, nice soap, etc. I missed having a complimentary fridge and microwave, however. Out in the lobby I noticed the gift shop was gone - I hope they get another one! The restaurant food is very good but for some reason there's very few customers there."

"We found this to be our ideal location for our stay in Edmonton and the price was reasonable for our affordability. The live entertainment makes for a relaxing evening without having to go to a different location. We would highly recommend it to all our friends."
