All units include free Wi-Fi, a 42" or 46" LCD HDTV with cable and pay-per-view movies, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, an iron and ironing board, a safe, a hair dryer and climate control. Rooms are furnished with 1 queen bed and 2 bunk beds; 1 queen, 1 futon and 2 bunk beds; 2 queen beds; 1 king bed; or 1 king and a day bed. Room extras include a double jacuzzi, a 4-person jacuzzi and extra seating of varying size.
Free parking is available on site. This hotel accepts a maximum of 2 pets under 25 lbs for a fee of $50 per night, per room.
L2 Grill restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and is open daily for breakfast and dinner and offers lunch on weekdays only, plus Sunday Brunch. L1 Lounge is located on the first level. Room service is also available.

The location received very high scores in the reviews. Many guests found the location of this hotel ideal for accessing West Edmonton Mall attractions, shopping, and restaurants.
Many guests enjoyed their rooms. They reported clean and spacious rooms with great views, large flat screen TVs, comfortable beds with good linens, amusing theme rooms and newly renovated Roman-themed rooms.
Staff received several compliments by guests who described them as accommodating, friendly, very helpful, and attentive to guests needs.
A few guests enjoyed dining on site. These guests praised the morning breakfast buffet as good and decently priced, the meals provided for a business meeting as excellent, and room service as above average and tasty.

Many guests felt the hotel needed to be updated. Guests reported worn decor, slow elevators, hard beds, a concave mattresses that sank in the middle, small showers and small bathrooms. Guests often felt the theme rooms and their hallways were tacky and very dated.
Many guests considered the rooms to be overpriced, especially for the older state of the hotel and compared to other hotels in the vicinity.
Several guests found cleanliness inconsistencies. Complaints included a dirty shower curtain, hallways that needed more frequent vacuuming, dirty floors, stained carpets, a stained couch, a dirty jacuzzi and a dirty bathtub.
Some guests felt that better maintenance was required. They complained of broken mirrors, chipped paint, a non-functioning heater, slow drains, low water pressure (when filling a tub), no hot water available for a shower and a toilet leaking on the surrounding floor.
Noise disturbance was an issue for a good number of guests. They reported loud and drunk people in neighbouring rooms who were cursing, playing music, yelling, running up and down the hallways, throwing up and banging doors as they were shutting them. Others were disturbed by guests talking and returning to their rooms in the hallways late at night or children who were allowed to run in the hallways unattended.
Occasionally complaints surfaced about the staff, with some guests reporting rude or incompetent service from the front desk.
Complaints were not plentiful about the Wi-Fi service, but it was explained that it was difficult to access and there were device restrictions per room. However, on the whole, Wi-Fi was only given an average score by guest reviewers.
