This full-service hotel was renovated in 2013 and provides a comfortable stay outside the downtown core. It's located at the crossroads of two major thoroughfares, making it a perfect hub for accessing the city and it's an easy walk to malls and restaurants.more
This hotel has 237 smoke-free rooms over 11 floors, which all include free Wi-Fi, free wired Internet, a 37" HDTV with cable, a coffeemaker, a desk with ergonomic chair, iPod docking, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, and central air conditioning. Rooms are furnished with 1 or 2 queen beds, 1 king bed or 2 twin beds. Room extras include a sofa and oversized chair, a mini-fridge, bathrobes, a separate bedroom, a second TV, and a bi-level suite with 2 bedrooms and a second bathroom. Accessible rooms are also available.
Self-parking is free, while valet parking is $10 per day. This hotel allows a maximum of 2 pets, less than 50 lbs, and charges $35 per stay, per room.

This hotel was very well liked by its guests. The staff made a huge impression with them, which made them feel welcomed and truly a valued guest. This went a long way to ironing out any wrinkles that arose and many said they planned to return.more
The hotel is in an older building, but has been renovated in 2013. Occasionally things come up to suggest that not everything is brand new at the hotel, but overall the rooms have nice new decor and the hotel gets high marks for cleanliness and comfort.
Guests typically liked this location. It was easy to get to and they found it offered quick access to West Edmonton Mall, downtown and South Common and to be convenient to amenities.
Wi-Fi got very good scores in the reviews, but occasionally guests found it intermittent, and had to reset at the beginning of each use.
Guests also praised: the free and heated underground parking, the clean and well-equipped fitness centre, the sit-down lounge, good value breakfast buffet for $16 and delicious dinners at the restaurant.
Although the hotel is very clean and nicely decorated, there were on occasion things that did not work well or areas that guests found lacking.more
In this regard, a few guests complained of the in-room heating being too cold or too hot, with the thermostat not working or guests not being able to control the temperature, TVs functioning poorly, loud AC units, uncomfortable and inefficient towels, running toilets, a small shower, a poorly draining shower and small bathroom.
