Overview
Located about a 5-minute drive from Edmonton's city centre and a 3-minute walk from Corona metro station, Days Inn Downtown Edmonton is geared towards travellers who prefer a well priced and centrally located hotel with on-site dining, extended kitchen amenities and easy access to public transit.

Each of the hotel's smoke-free rooms comes equipped with air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer and an ironing board. Rooms with a kitchenette or a mini-fridge and microwave and a seating area with sofabed are also available, as are wheelchair-accessible rooms.

On-site amenities include a fitness centre (open 6am-10pm), one meeting room, a 24-hour business centre, guest laundry, free parking and on-site dining at Albert's Restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and room service daily. Pets are not permitted.

West Edmonton Mall is about a 20-minute drive away, while the University of Alberta can be found 6 minutes away by car. The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with praise going to the hotel's location, staff, rooms and value.

Numerous guests praised the hotel's location. They described it as central and close to downtown, shopping, restaurants, pubs, a farmer's market, city hall, art galleries, the hospital, public transit and Rexall Place.

Many lodgers were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as efficient, friendly, helpful and professional. 

Several travellers were satisfied with their accommodations at the hotel. They found their rooms to be clean and quiet, with comfortable beds. Some guests were disappointed with their lodgings, however (see below).

The hotel was deemed as having good value by several reviewers, who described the rates as reasonable, cheap and very good. One patron remarked, "This hotel is proof that cheap accommodation can be comfortable and look good!".
