The GoodGuests that stayed at this hotel had mixed opinions of the property and it seemed as though the hotel was not that well-well-liked. The guests that did like the property usually had compliments for the location, the rooms, and the prices.
When it came to the location several guests expressed that they were close to West Edmonton Mall. Many guests also mentioned that there were amenities near the hotel such as restaurants.
The rooms at the property were one area that received mixed reviews. The patrons that seemed happy with the guest rooms thought that they were well-sized. Occasionally guests also described the hotel as "quiet".
Guests who commented on the prices that they paid typically seemed to be satisfied. The hotel was called affordable or as offering a "very reasonable price".
The Bad
Guests that were not happy with this hotel were numerous and they complained about several different aspects of the hotel.
One common complaint had to do with the smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel, including in rooms that guests thought were non-smoking. One couple, who seemed happy with the hotel overall, said that "the only concern (they) had was the smell" and they described smelling "cigarette smoke...on the second floor". Another guest claimed that he/she rented a non-smoking room but was given a room that was "smelly".
Several guests also complained about the condition of the hotel. The building was described as "aging", "not well maintained", "dated", "run-down", and even "dilapidated".
The rooms were not consistently described as clean at this hotel. There were definitely a fair number of guests who indicated that their expectations were met however so many guests complained of dirtiness that it appeared as though it was a significant problem at the hotel. One guest who stayed for several days claimed that a toothpick stayed on his floor the whole time. Other guests felt as though their rooms were dirty or had a grungy feel after checking in.
The staff at the hotel did not receive rave reviews. One guest called the service "disgraceful" and a couple more guests just described unhelpfulness and unfriendliness.
Lastly, the two-storey hotel did not have an elevator and occasionally a guest indicated that he/she was inconvenienced by that.

Booking.com guest ratings averaged to 7.4 points out of 10 and the site had 27 reviews.
