The Bad
The reviews consulted for this analysis were of mixed opinion, and there were complaints from reviewers.

Although several guests were pleased with their clean and updated rooms, there were many who offered complaints about their rooms. A few reviewers reported uncomfortably hard beds. A few guests were disappointed to find no mini-fridges in their rooms, especially when they were previously informed that there would be a mini-fridge in their room. One man said he was given a worn and slanted bed that was low to the ground. Another guest said that both renovated rooms she was given smelled of cigarette smoke. Another guest said his first room smelled of dog urine and second room smelled almost as bad. Yet another reviewer said he was given two rooms and both were not clean.

A few guests complained of noise transfer from guests whose children were running in the halls late at night, from loud talking and laughing guests 3 doors over, and from some guests who were partying.

A couple of guests reported Wi-Fi that was not working.

The hotel's lack of elevator was a challenge for a few lodgers, who complained of carrying heavy luggage up the stairs to their rooms.

A number of guests had issues with the treatment received by the staff at the hotel who they found to be not helpful, rude and overly busy. A few guests complained about having been given conflicting rates and information in the hotel's in-room binder.
