"I would never go there again"
"The veiw was great. The room had dead bugs on the walls in the bathroom and the main door. It smelled strongly of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The toilet would not flush properly. The one front desk girl was rude. When we asked if we could get a late check out they said "I doubt it" we had a marathon to run. A shower after would have been nice! The room next door had a party going on, and even after they were told to quite down it did not stop."

"Not my first choice for a hotel in Drumheller"
"The staff was very friendly when we checked in. It's the hotel itself that is in very poor condition, such as cracked tiles on the bathroom floor, the grout was black with mold and dirt and the tap didn't shut off. The worst part was the beds. They were very well worn and sagged A LOT in the middle, as a result, we all woke up with sore backs. On the positive side, it was quiet, and very nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room, but we would not stay there again."

"Not a family Hotel!!!"
"We've stayed at many Travelodge hotels across Canada and expected the same standard when we booked our stay in Drumheller however were a bit disappointed as soon as we pulled into the lot. The hotel appears like it was an old motel that the travelodge bought, it does not look like a typical travel lodge. It is located across the bridge from the other hotels and restaurants. It is located right beside a liquor mart and a bar and was very noisy as we were on the bottom floor and all we could hear were people walking by our room, upstairs in the suites and down the metal stairs. All entrances are from outside and the walls are very thin and do not keep out any noise. There is no pool or hot tub or really anything in the hotel to entertain children. The staff were friendly however overall I would not stay or recommend this hotel to another family."

"Peacefull Retreat"
"I had nothing bad to say about the motel, it was mainly my fault for not speicifying what I really needed , as per ground floor or upper floor. Otherwise all was great. It was quiet, clean and conveinient"

"The hotel room was clean and the service was great - the only draw back was the photo we looked at on the net had more amenities than the hotel itself. We understood that there would be more of a kitchen facility and room for a hideaway cot. If you are looking for clean rooms, good beds and great staff this is a great place for the price and the staff were terrif."

"The Travelodge Drumheller is worth a stay."
"The hotel is ideal stop over for a visit to the dinosaur museum or the fabolous Dinosaur Trail Golf course. There are numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I would stay there again."

"It is a two storey building with no elevator so, if you have problems, make sure you are on the first floor.
We reserved three beds and that is what we got -but no separation. A little separation would be nicer for at least one of the sleepers.
The refrigerator has a tiny freezer -no room to refreeze your cooler packs."

"I appreciae that there were no non-smoking rooms, but the smoking rooms were very heavy with smoke. I have stayed in other hotels in smoking rooms and they were not this bad.
Also, we found various uncleaned items on the floor on arrival e.g. paper wrapping from sweets although bathroom and other areas were clean.
Reception staff were very helpful and freindly."

"I was sure I booked a non-smoking room but ended up with a smoking room - it was disgusting. Spraying did no good. The carpet was stained and the chair had a cigarette burn in it, as did the bathroom counter. The lock on the door was broken, we came back from dinner and the door was ajar (nothing gone though); we also had trouble getting out of the room (locked in!). It apparently has different rules (i.e. 10% discount as I work for ontario wcb) than any other travelodge. it was $40.00 more than the really nice travelodge with a pool that i stayed at in Strathmore! It was awful, I'd never recommend it to anyone! Oh - also there was construction going on right beside our room at 8:00 am."

"Your shower heads shoot out too hard and are very painful. Water shoots everywhere when you shower. Please make these changes and I will consider staying again."
