The GoodThe majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's staff, family-friendly amenities and breakfast.
Most reviewers were pleased with the level of customer service they received at the hotel. They characterized the staff as cheerful, helpful, and knowledgable. One guest remarked the staff were, "dedicated to making their guests' stay as pleasant as possible".
Many guests who travelled with their families praised the hotel's amenities, mentioning that their children loved the pool and waterslide. These guests were also pleased they were able to book rooms with 3 beds in them, and enjoyed the convenience of the microwaves and refrigerators in their rooms.
The hotel's included breakfast was a source of several compliments. It was described as tasty, with a large variety of hot and cold items, which included cereal, omelettes, fruit, and waffle and pancake makers.
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints among them, which included noise transfer, the rooms, and the price.
Some guests experienced disruptive noise during their stay. They described hearing people running in the hallways, and children yelling in adjacent rooms. One reviewer also mentioned hearing a dog barking from inside the hotel.
Although most guests enjoyed their rooms, some reviewers felt the upkeep of the hotel could have been improved upon. They described issues with cleanliness, worn carpets, scrapes on the furniture and outdated TVs.
A few lodgers felt the price of their rooms was too high, especially in the summer months. They felt that although the hotel was satisfactory, there weren't a lot of options in the town of Drumheller, so they didn't have much choice but to pay the rates.
