The Good
Guests were generally quite pleased with their stays at this hotel and many guests gave very good scores and positive comments online in the reviews that were read for this report. Guests seemed to really like the staff and the free breakfast the most.

Guests conveyed that the staff were always courteous, smiling and accommodating with a genuine desire to please.

Breakfast was a highlight for a lot of guest reviewers and they were generous in their praise of it. They used words like excellent, awesome and amazing to describe it and one guest offered more information, "Breakfast had an amazing fruit salad and bowl of yogurt, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, fried potatoes, several juices and boxes of cereal and milk."

Rooms were considered adequate and clean for the most part, but the beds were considered better than average with guests typically calling them great and extra comfortable.

Only one reviewer spoke about the location and said it was convenient to Hwy 22 and the Cowboy Trail.

The restaurant was seen as adequate or very good, judging from those who commented.
The Bad
Negative comments were received from a few guests and focused on areas that showed wear and tear on the property.

Included in this list were: black mould and outdated tub and shower faucet in the bathroom, a non-functioning AC unit leaving the guest too hot, common areas worn and outside entranceway missing some bricks.

There were also a couple of cleanliness complaints. One guest complained that workers tracked mud onto the stairs and carpet of the hotel and another guest wiped the wet bathroom floor, only to discover that the towel they used became black.

A couple of guests complained of unpleasant odour: one from the restaurant that permeated the hallway of the hotel which he called smokey and another complained about the smell of air freshener in a guest room.
