The Good
This property was very highly rated in online reviews sourced for this summary.

The staff were considered friendly and efficient. Guests commented about their speedy same-day repairs on room amenities that needed attention. One guest mentioned how the housekeeping staff even laid the fire for them in their fireplace.

Many guests were very pleased with the location of the hotel and the atmosphere of the hotel grounds. The clean and comfortable cabins, the consideration provided to pets, and the well-appointed kitchens and rooms were also highlights of their stay.

Several spoke of returning and one guest remarked, "We had a great stay at these beautiful little chalets. They aren't high end but offer a cozy and clean retreat in the mountains. I will definitely be going back."

The Bad
One area of grievance arose in the reviews used for this analysis.

Several reviewers were disturbed by noise from the trains that passed by near the property. However, there were some mixed opinions regarding this problem. One guest said that trains ran by regularly with their horns blasting even in the middle of the night, and another said that although they were pretty loud, they didn't come by that often and passed by very quickly, which still allowed a full night's rest.

In addition, a couple of reviewers were disturbed by noise from guests and barking dogs in neighbouring rooms in the duplex-style cabins.
