This hotel is situated on a main thoroughfare in Canmore with easy highway access, (2 minutes to the Trans-Canada Highway), and about a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive from the town centre. Great for skiers to Banff's resorts, this hotel offers an eating-in option with full kitchens in many rooms, plus a hot tub to soak in at night. Larger groups and families will appreciate the units with 1 or 2 bedrooms for that extra space and privacy.

This property is smoke free and all rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a flat screen TV with cable, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a hair dryer and individual climate control. Rooms are furnished with 1 queen bed or 2 double beds and may have a single pull-down bed. Room extras include a sofabed, a kitchen (stove, oven, mini-fridge or full-size fridge, microwave, toaster, cookware, dinnerware), a dining table with chairs, a gas fireplace, 1-2 fully separated bedrooms, a living room and a patio or balcony. Some rooms have drive-up access. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are not available.

Free parking is available on site for cars and oversize vehicles. Pets are permitted in select rooms for an additional fee of $10 per pet, per room. Pet stays require pre-approval with the hotel directly. Two pets under 60 lbs each are allowed per room. Owners to bring pet bedding and dishes. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds.

There is no restaurant on site but guests will find a good selection nearby, within a 3-minute walk of this property.

Guests typically enjoyed their stay at this hotel and considered it to provide good value at affordable prices, based upon the reviews that were read for this report.

Guests found the rooms very serviceable. They were described as very clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchens. Many enjoyed fireplaces and balconies with scenic views of the mountains from their rooms.

Several reviewers were pleased to have a hot tub and sauna on site. They also enjoyed views of the mountains while relaxing in the hot tub.

The staff were well liked by the guests. They found them to be friendly and helpful and provide a quick check in and check out.

Guests really liked the location of this hotel. They said it was close to the highway, a short drive to Banff and within walking distance of a good choice of restaurants, as well as grocery shopping and downtown.

Guests mentioned the following as adding value to their stay: hot tub, sauna, on-site BBQ area, kids playground and guest laundry.

There were a few concerns that popped up occasionally for this hotel in the reviews sourced for this editorial.

Occasionally guests did mention the need for updates. More than one guest said that the futons could use an update or be replaced, as they were uncomfortable for adults to sleep on, and occasionally guests described the rooms as having 80's decor or just being dated.

A couple of guests found their rooms a little small, especially for 4 persons, with little storage space, although others judged their rooms to be spacious.

Occasionally guests mentioned that there was no breakfast provided at the hotel.
