The GoodThe majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's value, rooms, and location.
Many reviewers praised the value of this hotel. They described the rates as very good, inexpensive and unbeatable, and one guest remarked the hotel was "a great place for the price I paid".
The hotel's rooms were a source of many compliments by lodgers. They said their rooms as spacious, clean, modern and well-equipped. Some reviewers enjoyed mountain views.
Many guests were pleased with the hotel's location. These reviewers found the hotel to be close to Banff National Park, downtown Canmore, and Banff townsite. It should be mentioned however, that a few patrons felt the opposite and said the hotel was far from local restaurants and shops, describing a 1-hour walk to Canmore.
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints among them, which included noise transfer and outdated decor and fixtures.
Some guests reported noise disruptions during their stay. They described loud bathrooms fans, traffic noise from the highway, noise from neighbours' footsteps upstairs, and a loud fireplace timer.
Complaints about outdated decor and fixtures were made by some reviewers. They reported inefficient laundry machines, outdated decor in the bathrooms, poor Wi-Fi signals, and that the carpets needed replacing in some units. It should be mentioned however, that most lodgers were pleased with the condition of their rooms.

"Great stay for a great price, very spacious"
"My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. Huge rooms, even more than we needed. Great hot tub, fireplace, TV, kitchen and very comfortable bed. The only thing that should be improved is the cleanliness. Some of the cutlery was dirty (the previous people were supposed to wash it though). Also some dirty spots on the carpet. However, we would definitely stay there again."

"Good value for your $$$"
"If you're looking for value for your $$ this hotel can't be beat. The decor is dated but not in bad repair however if you're looking for a luxury get away this is not the place. This is more than suitable for a homebase while you're enjoying what the towns have to offer."

"well worth the price we paid"
"We arrived late and left early the next day so were unable to check out any of the amenities or customer services. The parking was such that we had to lug our luggage all the way around the buildings to get to our suite. But once there the suite was clean, roomy, well stocked and quiet."

"Our fireplace wasn't working in our room but they quickly accomodated us and found another room within minutes. They even turned the fireplace on for us, so it was nice and cozy when we went in. It would be nice if the jacuzzi was open a little later though. : )"

"Have a nice stay there"
"This is a nice hotel, We were quite happy choosing this hotel, with the location of the hotel of just 10 minutes driving to the gate of Banff. bed was wonderful I've ever slept in! & the room was elegant. bathrooms were very very clean and spacious, that's saying a lot, I will be definitly comming back."

"We love the Banff Boundary..we always stay there when we come to Canmore. My only comment would be that the vacuuming could be better..dust bunnies in all the corners. Beds were super comfortable."
