The Good
Guests were very fond of this newer hotel, which was in good condition and had such friendly staff.

They liked the rooms. They found the rooms spacious, quiet, well kept and well equipped.

Staff were very well liked. They were eager to please, honest in returning forgotten items and kept the hotel very clean. Guests also described them as excellent, kind and helpful.

Guests really liked the safe and quiet location. It was in walking distance of shopping, cinema, restaurants and the C-Train. Also, being right off Mcleod Trail made it easy to get in and out of the city.

Guests often enjoyed the pool, waterslide and hot tub area. The pool was warm, the room was bright and sunny, the hot tub was large and there were plenty of towels.

Guests enjoyed the free breakfast. It was well stocked and replenished with fresh hot food including sausages and eggs. One recent guest put it like this, "The breakfast is higher than the usual standard, with low fat yoghurt, boiled and muffin-style eggs, waffles, granola, and the usual continental offerings. Dishware, rather than paper and plastic, is used for serving."

The Bad
Negativity was quite rare in the reviews for this hotel but some guests offered a little negative feedback.

Some recent guests missed the neighbouring steak house which closed and this played a part in their dissatisfaction (although there were still restaurants in walking distance and a pub had replaced the previous steak house).

A few guests said accessing the hotel's parking lot was not straightforward and a little confusing. One guest put it like this, "A little difficult to find off the main highway at night.'

A few guests complained of noisy children in the hotel hallways and loud garbage trucks at 6 am.
