"We recommend this hotel."
"Darci was an excellent hostess, friendly, helpful, considerate and very pleasant. The only negative aspect of our stay was the free breakfast in the dining room which appeared to have been re-heated in the microwave making the sausage and bacon "rubbery". Other than that, everything was very good."

"Bad beds. bad smell and too expensive"
"We asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking one. The beds were completely shot. Caving in to the middle. The smell in the room was so bad that my sister in law almost threw up when she got in. For 170$ a night, this is really unacceptable."

"I hotel itself wasn't bad, could have bee cheaper. i stayed in a 5 star hotel in Dubai for much less. Staffs were curteous but the restaurant was abysmal. very poor service and food that makes McDonald looks like fine cuisine. Waitress very sloppy and inexperience, considering there was only 3 busy tables. I would like to point out that garlic bread is not 2 pieces of toast that actually arrived when my meal was completed and I was paying my bill. I have been wondering if Calgarians really know about food or do they think travellers are stuck between rock and stone? Shuttle service was good!"

"Don't stay here...... Sleep in you car...."
"The room I had has never been updated, I was back in the 70's. The shower and tub were light brown, the sink with and the toilet set and lid white.
There were cigarette burn marks on the carpet, the tub and sink.
The most updating this room had may have been some paint.
The elevator was noisy, my room was about 30 feet from it, but the motor for it was on the roof and I was on the top floor, you could hear the sides of the elevator scrape the sides of the elevator shaft.
I saw no inspection stickers on the elevator, and the interior was worse.
At $199.00 a night it was way overpriced.
If I had to pay for this stay I would be demanding 50% of my money back!
THE ENTIRE HOTEL NEEDS TO BE REDONE...."

"The Restaurant serving the hotel was really terrible in customer service. We sat there for almost an eternity before a waitress attended to us. To make matters worse there were only two or three other people there. And they had either been served or on their way out. It almost seemed racist to non-whites.
It was a horrible experience. Needless to add, I would never enter nor recommend the restaurant. It anything the hotel should re-examine its relationship with the owners."

"Altho the hotel was very neat & clean, it was 'aged' showing wear & tear, somewhat 'out dated'. The pool area was off the loby & altho near elevator & first floor door, it still was too open to feel comfortable with pepole at the nearby check in desk. The pool & exercise rooms could have used something, anything, to apporve their apearance. Ice machines were on only two of four floors, at the far end of the hall, which ment a long 'hike'& very inconvenet. Otherwise,it was OK & the staff were very pleasent & helpful."

"We booked a non-smoking room and it STANK of cigarette smoke. There was no other room available for us so we were not very satisfied. although attempts were made to cover the smell they were totally unsatisfactory.

"Although the hotel was very well looked after and the bedrooms were very clean, facilities were also very good, I'm afraid that some of the staff needed teaching about customer relations. That was the only complaint I have about the hotel, but it could put off another visit. A smile and a polite hello would have been nice."
