The Good
Guests really loved this hotel and left enthusiastic reviews online.

Guests enjoyed their rooms. They described them as very spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and luxe, renovated bathrooms. Some had spectacular views from their room and large windows that let in a lot of natural light.

The location was perfect. It was in the city centre, in walking distance of great restaurants, shopping and downtown attractions. Guests without cars could access so much on foot and by C-Train, the stop only a 5-minute walk away.

The staff did a good job of impressing guests. They felt catered to and treated as valued individuals. Guests told of how their luggage was quickly brought inside and up to their rooms, how special diets were carefully attended to and how although the restaurant closed at 11:30 pm a guest was provided a delicious sandwich at 11:40 pm, and not turned away to order room service.

The hotel was elegant and well maintained and guests found the decor beautiful.

Guests often enjoyed gourmet breakfasts and dining on site. In the words of recent guests: "The Rimrock Restaurant has some amazing food, a great atmosphere, and unbelievable service.", "Staff are second to none and the best dinner we have ever had was at the Rimrock restaraunt." and "The quality of food and drink are unsurpassed in my view., and very reasonably priced."

The Bad
Guests provided a little critique and suggestions for improvement in recent reviews.

Some found the dining and drink service on site expensive.

There was the occasional noise disturbance. Guests in certain rooms could hear the nearby train passing, the elevator in rooms nearby, and their neighbours talking.

Occasionally guests were given a room that housekeeping had not fully tended to, but this was a rare occurrence.

Some guests' rooms had small bathrooms.
