Each one of the 56 rooms at this hotel have free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. There are standard rooms available, with a choice of king or queen beds or suites (some of which have a separate living room area). Pets are permitted for $25/night.

The Stampede Corral is a little further away, about a 9-minute drive. A C-Train station is a 3-minute walk from the hotel. Air travellers should budget about 23 minutes to drive the 19 km between the hotel and Calgary International Airport (YYC). (All distances and driving time estimates: Google Maps)

The Bad
While the bulk of comments used for this analysis were favourable, there were some common complaints, notably about the perceived safety of the surrounding neighbourhood.

A few guests thought that the neighbourhood was undesirable. One guest described the neighbourhood as "sketchy", and another mentioned that they likely would not feel comfortable walking around at night by themselves.

While a number of guests said that the rooms and common areas were clean, some thought that they were dingy, old and poorly lit.

There were some additional comments about things like spotty Wi-Fi connections and from guests who felt that the hotel was expensive.
