"Great value for the price"

"The only thing I was disappointed about was the service, which I feel is such an Imp part. It was xmas day and we called ahead of time to make sure there was a restaurant open at the hotel so we could have a meal when we got in. Since it was Xmas, most restaurants in Calgary were closed we found as we drove around for an hour and finally had to settle on McDonald's for our Xmas meal. When we got back we noticed the sign for a xmas meal that would have been open when we wanted to go. Front staff not very friendly also. Staff in small restaurant for breakfast not that friendly.....we waited extra long to order......she thought we were just having coffee and didnt come back to take our order. Food was cold when it arrived. There was only three tables at the time in restaurant. Coffee price was way too high. Everything else about hotel was great."

"This was the first hotel I stayed in of what looked like a very nice hotel that did not have fridges or microwaves in the rooms. Nice and clean though and friendly staff. A long way from any decent restaurants, shopping, or gas stations."

"It would be nice if there was some water in the rooms, other than $3 a bottle. I would like to see a pool in the hotel- the amenities noted in the CAA book say that there was a pool and there wasn't. It was a large part of the reason that we chose this hotel as we had our 4 yr old with us. The sauna and whirlpool were great for us,but not our son. It was extremely convenient to have a fair number of restaurants right on the same lot as the hotel. The lunch buffet at the hotel looked fantastic! Overall it was conveniently located to what we wanted and apart from the pool issue, we had a nice stay."
