"Don't stay here!"
"the outside rooms smell of urine and smoke. Looked like puke on the side walk. This hotel has not been renovated for many years and is in great need of it. Staff at front desk was nice. Rooms inside main building were better than outside rooms but still in desperate need of a reno, bathrooms small, carpet old and dirty, old paint, furniure, tile looked like tile from the 60's."

"The swimming pool was very dirty with hair on the bottom of the deep end, making it impossible to swim in the at area, we did notify the front desk but it was after 5:00 and their were no maintenance staff working to clean it."

"Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful. Location was perfect in hotel/motel alley. Easy access to north and south Calgary. Continental breakfast was just okay-perfect if you like straight carbs! Toast, cereal, muffins. We would stay here again though. Great price for what everyone else is offering at a higher price."

"The service was good. The room we stayed in was comfortable. I liked having a kitchen sink and a microwave. The lighting was poor in that part of the room though. The only other complaint is about the lack of fitted sheets."

"Very pleased with hotel and the service was extremely courteous. Needed to go back and forth to Foothills hospital and was very easy to go back and forth. Would recomend to anyone who was looking for lodging in that area of the city."

"Everything is wonderful at this hotel. Really great value for your dollar. I only have one little negative tidbit and that is only that I am a coffee drinker and enjoy having coffee in my room and when I asked for more coffee I was only given one bag, I would have liked 2 or 3 but was told I could only have the one. But, otherwise, an awesome stay. Great location, nice to have kitchenette in room, great service at desk."

"The jets in the whirlpool were not working. The pool is tiny. The shower curtain only consisted of the cloth outer part, and there was no vinyl lining that usually goes on the inside part of the shower. The shower fixture was loose because the hole in the wall was way too large. The shower head was simple - one setting. I wasn't impressed with the continental breakfast. The mattress was a little too hard.
Some of the more positive notes include a friendly, helpful, courteous staff; the rooms were clean and in generally good condition; plenty of towels; small kitchenettes and irons & ironing board was convenient. The location is perfect if you are going to McMahon Stadium (walking distance); lots of eating options nearby. Good value for the price - especially for Calgary, where hotel rooms can be pricey!"

"Hotel is clean and room has all amenities.Great inexpensive stay with free wifi, rapid access to the city via closeby cTrain station and in walking distance of some restaurants.
There is a small indoor pool and a hot tub.Breakfast included.
Definitely one of the best priced hotels for the budget conscious.
Great Value!Will use it again when in Calgary!"
