"The Complimentary breakfast is wonderful, but the young lady in the breaksfast area was rather 'kurt' when I asked for more of something close to the cut off time 9:30. I'm attribute to the attitude to over worked and trying to do a good job.
Suggeestion to other users: Get to to the breakfast early as seating was extremely limited and the food was removed at 9:30 AM, no questions asked, just cleaned out!
The hotel should staff at least 2 people in the complimentary breakfast area to replinsh food, clean tables and generally be available for location of spoons, extra food etc. In addition, the hotel should consider extending the hours of the Complimentary breakfast during the summer season until at least 10 AM. Especially the week leading up to Stampede weeks."

A shopping mall is two miles away, Calgary Zoo is six miles, Casino Calgary is three miles, and Chinatown is five miles from the hotel, featuring various shops and restaurants. Fort Calgary is seven miles away and open daily. A passport or an original birth certificate is required to cross Canadian border. If you do not have your original birth certificate you could be detained for up to four hours while they confirm your birthplace.
