The GoodMost of the reviews used for this analysis were full of praise for this hotel. There were a number of comments from guests who appreciated the boutique appearance of the rooms and on the exceptional service from staff.
Many guests commented on the cleanliness of the rooms and on the crisp, modern decor. One guest really liked the colours and felt that the hotel had a spa-like quality reflected in the decor.
Guests commented often on the quality of the service received from the staff. Several guests named staff members by name and specifically mentioned how staff were flexible and went the extra mile to meet guest requests. Front desk and housekeeping staff were mentioned specifically.
Guests liked the location of this hotel in the northwest part of town and appreciated its proximity to the highway, which was particularly useful for guests who were using Calgary as a home base while exploring the Rockies (which are northwest of the city.)

The Bad
While the bulk of reviews used for this analysis were favourable, guests commonly complained about a couple of points, mostly centring on noise disturbance.
Given this hotel's location on a major highway, a number of guests complained of noise disturbance from traffic. Some other guests complained that they were bothered from noise in their rooms from rattling air conditioning units. Guests also complained about being disturbed by noise from guests in neighbouring rooms.
A few guests had issues with the configuration of the rooms and found it awkward getting around in them or storing their belongings. A few guests felt that the rooms were small and that lighting was not conveniently placed.
