"A rather well-worn hotel in need of renovation. Some of the service staff were exception and the rest mediocre at best. I gave up on the breakfast (limited choice, and not the best quality of what was there) and chose to frequent the nearby Starbucks instead. I hope I do not need to stay here again, and I would not recommend the place to others."

"reservations were for 2 queen beds. when I checked in they didn't have 2 queen beds, so they put me and my partner in a room with 1 king bed and a pull-out sofa. when it was time to go to bed, I pulled out the sofa-bed only to find a bare mattress. all the linens were in the dresser drawer, so I had to make my own bed."

"The room we were given was not what we were tols via the internet when we made the reservation. It did not have the whirlpool tub and we found the reoom to be very expensive in terms of what we received. Even though the room was very large it was not clean and had a frustratingly small kitchen. In addition the previous people in the room had cooked some very strong fish and it stayed the entire length of our stay. It was very unpleasant. If I were to suggest something that Best Western could do to increase the satisfaction of it's clients I would say that they need to update all the rooms, halls and general decor. The staff was reasonably friendly but the room we were in was very dirty. If you need furhter information please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks."

"WE ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE, AND FOUND THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN, TIDY AND WELL SITUATED. ALSO THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY THE FRONT DESK CLERK WITH THE TEN GALLON HAT. RESTAURANTS AND BARS WERE ONLY MINUTES AWAY ON FOOT, AND THERE WAS PLENTY TO CHOOSE FROM. WE FOUND CALGARY A BEAUTIFUL CLEAN CITY."
