Overview
This hotel is situated on the University of Calgary Campus and is a 3-minute drive from the Trans-Canada Highway. This property is well suited for guests looking for traditional hotel-style accommodations within walking distance of U of C venues. 

This property is 100% smoke free and all rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local and long-distance calls, a 32" flat screen TV, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a desk with an ergonomic chair and an MP3 clock radio. Rooms are furnished with one queen bed.

One-bedroom suites also include a wet bar, a sofabed and a DVD player. Suites are furnished with one king bed. This hotel offers one suite that features a king-sized platform bed, upgraded furnishings and a view of the campus and city skylines.

Parking is available in the adjacent Arts Parkade for an additional fee of $8 per entry during the day, and $6 per entry after 6 pm.

A free continental breakfast is served at the on-site Bistro Alma from 6:30 am to 11 am on weekdays and from 7 am to 11 am on weekends. The Bistro Alma serves breakfast and lunch and closes daily at 3 pm. Food is available to go.

This hotel also offers on-site meeting space and guest laundry facilities.

The University of Calgary Outdoor Centre and tennis courts are a 1-minute drive or 4-minute walk away, while the University Theatre is 2 minutes away on foot. The Museum of Zoology is 5 minutes away on foot, while the sports fields (Foothills Stadium and McMahon Stadium) are a 10-minute walk away. The nearest C-Train station (public transit for access to downtown Calgary) is 17 minutes away on foot.

Many guests seemed to be generally satisfied with their stays at this property, among the reviews used for this analysis, and several aspects of this hotel received compliments.

Many guests described their rooms as clean and one reviewer said that the cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating.
