Overview
This property is situated within a 5-minute walk of Banff Avenue and the city centre area, which features shopping, nightlife and restaurants. Offering some rooms with communal bathrooms and dormitory-style accommodations, this property is well suited for guests who prefer more economical and don't mind shared accommodations. 

All private rooms include free Wi-Fi, a bedside table and a telephone. Select rooms include a private en suite bathroom, while other rooms offer shared or communal bathrooms. Rooms are furnished with one double bed or two double beds. Family rooms include a private bathroom, a mini-fridge, two double beds and a sofabed.

Dormitory-style rooms are furnished with bunk beds and accommodate between 6 and 10 people. Wi-Fi service is available in these rooms for an additional fee of $7.95 per 24 hours or $16.95 per week.

Free parking is available on site and pets are not permitted.

A free breakfast is available for guests staying in private rooms only. The on-site Y Mountain Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and is open from 7:30 am to 9 pm. It is fully licensed.

Other on-site amenities include a guest kitchen, an outside courtyard, coin-operated laundry machines, a games room, a TV room, meeting rooms and ski and luggage storage. Communal areas also feature Wi-Fi for a nominal fee based on usage.

Bow Falls and the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel are both about 3 minutes away by car.
