The Good

The downtown location was a highlight for many guests who enjoyed being "in the middle of the action", surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars.

Some guests found the rooms to have good views and good water pressure in the showers.

The free parking was very much appreciated by guests.

The Bad
Negative comments focused on noise and the age and lack of maintenance of the hotel.

Although some guests liked the room they stayed in, some felt that the hotel was outdated and worn. Guests complained of water stains on the ceiling, stained and old carpets, peeling paint and wallpaper, chipped desks and dim lighting.

In addition some complained that the toilet seats were smaller than the porcelain toilet bowls, forcing guests to partially sit on the cold porcelain. A few guests complained of awkward bathroom layouts, and bathroom doors that would not close. Some also complained that the desk chairs did not fit the desks and were thus awkward for working at with a laptop.

Guests offered mixed opinions of the beds, with some finding them comfortable and others complaining about them.

Some guests thought that the hotel was not very soundproof and were disturbed by guests taking the stairs, noisy fans and AC units, and guests talking in hallways, adjacent rooms and in the parking lot. A handful of guests also complained about people partying in other rooms late at night.
