"Excellent Hotel, couldn't have asked for anything more"
"The service we had at the Douglas Fir Resort & Chalets Hotels was Excellent. The room we had was a Queen Bed with a Sofa (hide a bed) plus Kitchenette. Spacious, loved the fireplace & full deck for viewing the Beautiful Mountains. Having a very large waterslide, pool & Hot Tub was Excellent. The location was perfect, & loved the idea of being able to show our room card to get on the bus, instead of having to pay Only takes like 3 minutes to get to downtown Banff. There is even a Grocery, Liquor store & coin laundry on site if a person needs. The Housekeeping staff was Awesome as well.
We would recommend this Hotel to anyone who would like to have a Very Wonderful Stay (Holiday)"

"Great Value!"
"This hotel was much more than I was expecting considering the price. It came with a full kitchen, and there was a pool with a water slide. Also, you got free transportation into the town if you show your room key. (Only a 3 minute bus ride) There was a liquor store and small grocery store right beside which was very handy."

"My husband, toddler and I haven't enjoyed a vacation like this since my daughter was born. We were so happy to find a great place with all the amenities. Having a separate suite and tucking in our daughter for the night was fantastic. It allowed some mommy and daddy time, instead of turning out the lights and going to bed at 8:30 with her! One problem, however minor, was no sound proofing in the hallway entrance. We were downstairs and could hear the television program from the folks upsatirs. We could clearly hear the dialogue when we stood in the hallway. Otherwise we raved about it to friends and family! We also enjoyed the small group of elk that were munching on the grass across the parking lot!"
