"Not our idea of a great hotel."
"We had a two night stay at this hotel and the location is great since it's right downtown, however the noise was bad. The first night we had people running up and down the halls knocking on our doors and disturbing us. Since our room overlooked the alley, the view was not great. We were disturbed by drunk people coming out of the bar until 3:00 in the morning. Our room was directly across from the cleaning supply room so early in the morning we could hear the staff going in and out of it for supplies. I would not recommend the hotel to guests who are going for peace and quiet, you won't get it. Also they charge for parking in their garage, which we have stayed in a few hotels in Banff and this is the first time we have been charged. I feel parking should be offered as a courtesy by the hotel. I would not stay there again."

"Great place to stay in the heart of Banff"
"This hotel is right in the heart of Banff and close to everything so you can walk. The service is excellent and the rooms are very nice and very clean. I loved the free breakfast. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. I had a wondeful stay, no complaints. I will be staying here again when I come back to Banff and I would recommend it to everyone. Great value for the price!"

"The room had no air conditioning so we slept with the window open. Unfortunately it opened to a side alley where there were many loud rowdy people on the street coming and going to a nearby bar till 2a.m. so we did not sleep well at all.
The continental breakfast was pathetic. Sweet pastries only. There was no cereal, toast, bagels. And they were out of tea bags so only coffee was available to drink."

"Situated right in the heart of Banff. NOt a great mountain view from our room but very conveniently situated. Very large whirlpool and very attractive wood decor. Nice rooms and very friendly staff."
