Do you place a high value on convenience and saving time in a busy schedule? Choosing an airport hotel can allow you more time for relaxation by reducing your travel time to the airport. If the airport hotel you choose provides an airport shuttle, it will eliminate the need for a costly cab ride or having to navigate through unknown cities and airport terminals on your own. Plus ready-made buffet breakfasts, offered at some airport hotels, add that extra layer of comfort and convenience.

I think these hotels offer superior value to travellers. Whether through free amenities, an ocean view, fine dining, well-appointed rooms or friendly and efficient service, these hotels all have something special to offer their guests. And maybe best of all--they're a short ride to the airport!

Plane spotters will be pleased to know there are two popular locations to watch planes, at the end of Canora Road on the southeast of the airport next to a small cemetery and the open field near the intersection of Mills Road and Meadlands Road on the northeast corner of the airport.

There are a few parks in the surrounding area like Rotary Park and John Dean Provincial Park, both less than 11 minutes away by car.
