The Best Western has a lot going for it and it would be my first choice if I had the opportunity to stay in Tofino. (Here's hoping!) I like hotels that have restaurants on site and this one not only has good food (according to online reviews) it also has an ocean view. It's well located for beach access, 5 minutes to downtown for more restaurant selections and only 12 minutes to the airport. All rooms have private patios with ocean views, and guests found them clean and comfortable. I thought they look tastefully decorated from pictures online. The staff and management appear accommodating and friendly. Prices in Tofino are high for hotels, but the Best Western seemed to be among the most reasonable on the days I checked. They have a steam room, hot tub and fitness centre and offer free: Wi-Fi and parking. If you want to learn to surf, you can take lessons from their surf shop! Happy travels!
