Getting Around
The Toronto Transit Commission services the hospital area as well as many neighbourhoods around the city. There is a bus stop right outside the hospital. 

Downtown Toronto is a 20-minute drive or taxi ride from the hospital. It is also possible to reach downtown in 40 minutes by public transit.

There is a shuttle service that connects the three sites of the hospital: the Sunnybrook Campus, the Holland Orthopaedic and Arthritic Centre, and Women's College Hospital. The shuttle also travels expressly to the TTC Lawrence Subway Station (at Yonge and Lawrence) to facilitate use of public transit for patients and visitors to the hospital.

The three major taxi companies in Toronto are: Co-op Cabs, Beck Taxi and Crown Taxi. However, these companies do not offer discounts to hospital visitors.

Toronto is a bike-friendly city, and one can take advantage of numerous bike lanes on city roads as well as bike paths through parks. Even on roads without bike lanes, people often bike on the roads in Toronto, which means that drivers are used to driving responsibly and safely with bikers.

The Bayview Campus offers a variety of on-site dining options, including kosher, vegetarian and gluten-free options at certain locations. 

The On The Go Bistro (food court) is located on the 1st floor of the M-wing, and features the following food services: Second Cup, Swiss Chalet, Extreme Pita, Extreme Pizza, PurBlendz (pure fruit smoothies) and On The Go. These are all open from 11 am to 7 pm every day except for Second Cup, which is open 23 hours daily. It is closed is between 3 am and 4 am. 

On the 1st floor of the E-wing is Harlequin's Food Court, open Monday to Friday from 11 am to 2 pm, featuring the following eateries: Pizza Pizza, Teriyaki Experience, Wheat Street Deli, Fresh Grille and Culinary Table.
