Tips For Staying Near Stampede Park

Location
All of the Calgary Stampede venues (Grandstand, Agricultural Exhibitions, Midway, Food Vendors, Saddledome and Stampede Corral) are situated in Stampede Park, located between McLeod Trail SE and the Elbow River, southeast of the downtown core.

There are four entrances onto the grounds. The Stampede Main Entry (northwest), the Victoria Park Entry (north-near 12th Avenue SE), the Olympic Entry (east) and the Erlton Entry (south).

The Victoria Park Stampede C-Train station is situated between the Victoria Park Entry and the Stampede Main Entry. The Olympic Entry is on Olympic Way near the Stampede Headquarters. The Erlton Entry is near the Erlton C-Train station.

Events at the annual Calgary Stampede include one of the world's largest rodeos, a midway, parade, stage shows and concerts, as well as agricultural competitions and more. Getting Around: Public Transit
The C-Train or LRT runs 24 hours a day during the Calgary Stampede and, during the day, the trains run every 8 minutes. Stampede Park offers two C-Train station stops, Erlton and Victoria Station.

The Victoria Park Station is located on the west side of the park, allowing for easy access to BMO Centre and the Erlton Station provides access to the south end of the park. 

Single-ride adult fares for 2017 are $3.25, while a day pass for one adult can be purchased for $10. More information and route maps can be found on the Calgary Transit website.
