I loooked for clean and well-kept hotels and the best value for the dollar bearing in mind the type of facilities offered. Guests should be aware that not all the hotels below are smoke-free, have an elevator or restaurant on site, so read carefully before choosing.

  • Many guests described their rooms as clean and spacious with comfy beds
  • Many reviewers praised the selection of hot items at the free breakfast

The Comfort Inn East would make a suitable place to stay if you need to visit the Scarborough Grace Hospital and want a clean budget hotel. It's reasonably priced, with friendly and accommodating staff and offers a pleasant and quiet environment, according to recent online reviewers.

It has clean and spacious rooms on two floors, but no elevator, so if you can't cart luggage upstairs, make sure you stipulate that you will need a room on the main floor. Also you should be aware that there are smoking and non-smoking rooms at this hotel although I have not noticed any complaints about smoke odours by non-smoking guests.

If you're travelling via public transit, this hotel has access to TTC buses a short walk away (2 minutes). There is no on-site restaurant, but the hotel supplies free breakfast. Wi-Fi and parking are also included in the rate. The hospital is an 8-minute drive away and reachable in just less than a half hour by transit. (It doesn't look like there are a lot of eating options nearby, so you may have to eat while near to the hospital.) The Town Centre mall is about a 13-minute drive away from the hotel.
