This is the closest hotel to the airport, only a 5-minute drive, and the only one that advertises a free 24-hour airport shuttle service in the city of Regina (which seems to run like a top). It’s also a well liked hotel overall, with friendly and accommodating staff who try to make life easier for their guests. There is shopping and restaurants in walking distance and a Tim Hortons in the parking lot, but you might not need Timmies as there is a popular free hot and cold breakfast available. Clean and spacious rooms await and all are decked out with a mini-fridge and microwave. If you’re travelling with children, you can build lasting memories with this hotel’s indoor pool and waterslide. It’s a great value here as well, with very good free Wi-Fi and free parking!

This quiet hotel is not only handy to the airport, only 6 minutes by car, but it’s conveniently located for getting around Regina, only a 4-minute drive to Ring Road. There is a shopping mall and good restaurants (Earls, Keg) in walking distance too. Guests say the rooms are clean and updated. Desks are a nice size for working and TVs are a nice size for watching (40”), and it’s one of the few Regina hotels that offer pay-per-view movies. There is good dining and a nice lounge on site, and although breakfast is not free, guests seem to find it enjoyable. The staff members are excellent here and guests have told of how they were honest and extra helpful. Ample parking is included in the room rate, along with excellent Wi-Fi.

This excellent Travelodge is a great choice for families as it provides so much to do right on site (or nearby). It’s equally close to the airport and downtown, just an 8-minute drive. There are restaurants and shopping in walking distance and beautiful Wascana Park is only a 5-minute drive away. Although room rates might seem high at first, guests should note that there is a lot included in the room price. Besides excellent free Wi-Fi (and wired Internet), guests enjoy a free hot and cold breakfast buffet, free parking and free local calls. Also included with your stay is the use of the hotel’s indoor pool with 2 waterslides, spray pad, toddler area, a digital water curtain and a hot tub that are open every day from 9 am to 10 pm (not just weekends like some hotels). There is a well-liked restaurant and lounge on site too, as well as a Starbucks kiosk. Room service is available from early morning to late at night. Ready to wind down? Excellent ground transportation is available from YQR to the city of Regina and anywhere in Saskatchewan.

There are several car rental companies with vehicles located just outside the terminal building at the Regina International Airport (YQR).

Taxis are available right outside the terminal doors and guests can also pre-arrange for taxi service by calling ahead for pick up or drop off at the airport.

The Hobo Express offers door-to-door service between Regina, Moose Jaw and other Saskatchewan locations (including doctors offices, hospitals, Casino Regina, Temple Gardens and The Tunnels of Moose Jaw). 

Extreeeme Transport and Limousine offers transportation to and from anywhere in Saskatchewan and specializes in transporting large groups (from 1-49 persons).

Short term parking is available immediately in front of the terminal building and is the most convenient. Rates are $2 for each half hour to a maximum of 2 hours (and rates double after 2 hours).

The economy lot costs $2 for the first hour and $2 for each additional hour to a daily maximum of $11 for 24 hours.

Long-term parking is available for $4 for the first hour and $2 for each additonal hour to a daily maximum of $15. Cold weather plug ins are available for block heaters only. If spaces are taken up the parking personnel will assist you to find the overflow lot. Long-term parking cannot be reserved ahead.
