There's a good selection of decent hotels if you're looking for a place to stay that's close to the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary.

Plus it should only take about 5 or 6 minutes to drive to the hospital from these hotels and public transit is only about a couple of minutes more for most of these places.

One of these hotels, the Lakeview Signature Inn, offers a free shuttle to the hospital, and a few of the hotels below offer a reduced room rate as a "medical rate". When inquiring about a medical rate, be sure to compare with prices available online, as I have found through experience that online pricing can sometimes be lower.

I compared these hotels for price, suitable amenities like on-site restaurants, in-room mini-fridges and the all-important guest ratings to measure how the hotels perform, and if their amenities and service are pleasing.
