Getting Around
The Trans-Canada Highway is a 2-minute drive from the hospital and downtown Ottawa is an approximate 12-minute drive away. The nearest airport is the Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport (YOW) at a 13-minute drive away, and all of the below-mentioned hotels are within a 10-minute drive of the hospital.

Getting around the hospital itself is not something you want to have to figure out when you get there for your appointment or to visit a loved one, so the hospital has provided an interactive map to easily plan out your route.

OC Transpo services routes surrounding the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus. Single-ride adult fares are $3.40 (or two pre-purchased tickets). Para Transpo is a service available to those who can't take traditional public transport due to disabilities. Regular-sized wheelchairs are accepted and a single-ride adult fare is $2.40, while the senior rate is $2.05. For more information and to register for Para Transpo, riders are encouraged to call 613-244-1289.

There is a covered parking lot, as well as three surface lots for visitors to the hospital to make use of. Parking meters can be found in all of the lots and rates are $0.25 for 2.5 minutes, or $1 for 10 minutes. Manned booths can also be found and rates are $3.50 for one half hour and a day pass can be purchased for $13. Long-term parking passes can also be purchased.
