I looked for hotels that had the best online guest ratings, were not dated or dirty (according to guests) offered good amenities and were reasonably priced.

Although some hotels say they offer a patient or hospital rate, I have found that online rates can be significantly cheaper than what the hotel can offer as their discount, so if it's important to you to save on costs, do a little comparing before finalizing your hotel booking.

You can reach North York General in 16 minutes by car or in 25 minutes using public transit from this hotel. There are both smoking and non-smoking rooms here, so be careful to order the room of your smoking preference. (If you're sensitive to the smell of smoke at all, you may want to opt out for a 100% smoke-free hotel.)

I found in particular that the hospital rate offered at this hotel on the date I asked for was $15 more per night than what was available online from this website, so be careful to compare the rates available to you if you are looking to save on costs.

Breakfast and Wi-Fi are free here but parking will cost you an extra $16 per night. This is a well-rated 3 star accommodation with an on-site restaurant and outdoor pool. Guests were generally pleased with the rooms (some come with mini-fridges), comfortable beds, friendly staff and location of this hotel.
