There's a good selection of hotels within a 17-minute drive of Humber College Lakeshore Campus, and they range all the way from luxury to budget hotels. My picks are weighted mostly for value for the dollar, so I've favoured those hotels that have high guest ratings and lower prices, however, if you can afford a high price tag, I highly recommend the excellent and romantic Old Mill Toronto which is about a 17-minute drive from the college.

This highly-rated hotel is an excellent value offering free Wi-Fi and parking, and a free hot breakfast, along with very reasonable room rates. If you are looking to save on travel costs, this is your best bet, and my first choice, for hotels near to Humber College Lakeshore Campus.

It features well-equipped rooms with mini-fridges and microwaves, large flat screen TVs with cable/satellite channels, dataports, ergonomic work spaces and comfy beds. A 24-hour fitness centre and hot tub with extended hours rounds out the experience.

It’s a 15-minute drive to both the Humber College and the airport (YYZ), and with free airport shuttle this may be a good choice for those travelling by air, giving good access to both the college and airport.

Guests really enjoyed the free hot breakfast buffet at this hotel for the variety and quality of the choices offered. And guests will appreciate having the added convenience of on-site dining and lounge at Michele’s Italian Ristorante & Bar.

The Waterside Inn is aptly named; overlooking Lake Ontario in Port Credit, this cozy and comfortable accommodation, that was once an apartment block, is now a quaint hotel for travellers, many of whom return for yet another stay. Its attraction? It seems that it’s just a pleasant experience in a nice residential area.

Because the rooms are all suites, some with one or two bedrooms and all with full kitchens, guests felt the comfort of having extra space. The layouts are varied and some guests enjoyed larger bathrooms than others, but guests seemed to agree that their accommodations were clean and comfortable.

Guests enjoyed the setting, the lake views from the rooms and the abundance of restaurants in the area, offering delicious and varied dining choices. Many also attested to the quality and appeal of the on-site dining available at the inn.

This is a good choice for guests wishing to access Humber College at the Lakeshore Campus. It’s only an 11-minute drive and there’s space enough for cooking some meals and sharing family times.

(Guests should note that some guests had difficulty connecting to the included Wi-Fi service at the time of writing, however the hotel informs that the problem is being addressed and should be corrected by August 2014.)

The Stay Inn Airport South is my pick for convenience and value. It is a good choice if you want to have less of a drive to both airport and college, about 8 minutes to both.

There’s no shuttle service to the airport, but the hotel is clean and comfortable and offers a very reasonable rate as well, if you consider that there’s Wi-Fi, parking and a (well-liked) hot breakfast thrown in.

It has very good ratings with former guests who enjoyed the service and comfort of this hotel and its convenient location, which is also close to downtown Toronto,15-20 minutes in driving time.

This hotel may be most suitable for those who have cars, as there’s no restaurant on site, and the closest walk-able choices seem to be within a 3-minute drive or 11-minute walk. Sherway Gardens mall offers dining and shopping a 2-minute drive away, but the walk will be about 20 minutes.
